This existing, traditional, split level ranch home, located in the greater Seattle area has been transformed into a Danish modern interior. Goals included opening up the interior spaces to create a flow between various functions, visually connecting the upper bedrooms level to the main living level, updating the exterior front entry of the home, a new modern kitchen, updating finishes in simple wood and steel components to provide a completely new look. All completed project photographs were provide by Maltom Inc., the General Contractor for the project. (Their contact info is below)

Connecting the upper level bedrooms to the main living space. It is hard to imagine this is the same view before/after. A key element of the design is to connect the upper level of the split level plan to the main living level below.

Existing and completed main living space, open kitchen plan, new ridge beam, updated fireplace, new study right of fireplace.
