
The original 1940’s cottage was beyond repair and came down. Look for salvaged components in the final construction.
Foundation work completed. Existing soil conditions required a helical pier foundation with grade beam and crawl space.



Floor Framing is TJIs set over a poured in place concrete crawl space.



First phases of framing- The 2 story section of the home is seen below. The 2nd floor loft space is now visible. The great room comes next and will be attached to the lake side of the 2 story section.





Progress: Framing complete and the roof is on. From Left to right ….
1. The exterior window wall of the great room creates the view from inside 2. The window dormer faces East and will let the morning sunlight flood into the loft and great room 3. Roof of the “grilling porch” is going on and will provide shade in the summer for those west facing windows. 4. Check out the view that is taking shape from the 2nd floor loft space to the lake!
