• Twin Lakes Park Government Office Buildings, includes office space, public meeting space, and a demonstration project showcasing the latest innovations in sustainable building design. LEED-NC Gold Certified 2004, remaining the highest scoring LEED project in Florida until 2009. Winner of the Sustainable Florida/Florida American Institute of Architects Award of Merit, 27,000 SF.
• Janie Poe Community Center for the Sarasota Housing Authority, Community meeting spaces and support offices to support a Public housing development, LEED NC Silver Certified, 8000 SF.
• Cancer Support Community/Center for Building Hope, Program includes joint Library and Internet Cafe for clients to research and learn about cancer, treatments, and positive Healing philosophies. The Library is at the heart of the Administration Pavilion with a direct connection to the courtyard and exterior spaces. Also a large Multi Purpose and children’s art room occupies the Program Pavilion, providing unlimited flexibility of use, LEED-NC Gold certified, USGBC, Florida Gulf Coast Chapter Outstanding Project of the Year, 11,200 SF
• Offices of Carlson Studio Architecture: Michael was the Owner, Developer and Design Architect for the firm’s corporate office. This was the adaptive reuse of a 1930’s grocery store building and received LEED-CI Silver Certification, USGBC Florida Gulf Coast Chapter Outstanding Project of the Year, 4800 SF.

CURRENTLY IN DESIGN

The Main Lodge Building is the central feature of the site and provides the prime amenities, including a restaurant for 60 guests, outdoor covered dining for an additional 24 guests, full commercial kitchen, resort reception & administration offices, and outdoor swimming pool with locker rooms. The lodge is about 4,200 SF (388 sq. meters) The project is currently in the Schematic Design phase.
